I began my (not pro) ambiences with a mic’s Walkman sitting outside a cafe in Malaga, 2000. Since then I integrate snippets in my music albums. They make for poignant postcards, don’t they?

I often listen back to my early ambience recordings, and whilst they may be lacking in technical flair or sophistication, they certainly convey clearly a time and a place. Recordings can provide us with a very potent dose of nostalgia!
