Disco dancing in the legendary chic & cosy ski resort of Val D'Isère
Venue : Chalet Grand Sarire - Val d’Isère, France 🇫🇷
I was absolutely thrilled to start off my year with a trip to the Alps! I’ve been fortunate to visit a fair few resorts over the past few years — Megève, Molines-en-Queyras, the Aosta Valley in Italy — but this is my first time visiting what many consider to be one of the world’s best skiing locations.
Charming ambience, beautiful peaks, crystalline slopes — it’s a true paradise for hikers, skiers and luxury seekers!!
I had the pleasure of djing for an amazing crowd last week at a private function in the small village of Le Fornet, about 2 km on from the famous village of Val d’Isère.
Tucked away up a tiny, and impossibly difficult to climb, road lies the luxurious lair Chalet Grand Sarire — a haven of Alpine peace.
The brief was simple — keep the vibe going from 8 till late!!
I put together a six hour set of disco classics and hip-hop anthems with a little detour via Beirut and some 90s house essentials. The clients were a truly international crowd and they were absolute stars on the dancefloor!!!
They kept on going til the early hours. Not too long before the sun came up and the skis came out!

Vibe of the night was this classic Cesar Vilo edit of the timeless 70’s funk classic — Street Player by Chicago.
A true disco weapon guaranteed to cause scenes on the dance floor!!!
Sadly I didn’t record my set to share with you this time — but I am thinking about adding this as a feature in the future…
